Updates · the library, built in public

We show the work. Including the work in progress.

Most health platforms present a finished wall of advice. We show you the production line: what we're building, what's been requested, what we're reading now, what just got graded, and what shipped. The same honesty we apply to the evidence, applied to how the evidence gets made.

Building next

Forward-looking. Intent, not commitment.

Direction, not promises. This is what we are building and the order we are building it in. Dates move and some of it will change. When a thing ships it drops into What shipped below, with the detail. Martin-edited.

Building now 4
In the workshop, aimed at the September 1 open.
Public testers, September 1
The first cohort walks the whole system with their own data. The date is fixed. What they show us reshapes everything after it.
Condition-aware reads
The system is learning to recognise specific patterns, like sleep apnoea or an underactive thyroid, from what you already log. When it sees one it says so plainly, with the evidence and the limits.
Deeper wearable reads
Your sleep stages, overnight heart rate and its variability, read against population norms so a number means something without you doing the maths.
The morning check-in, finished
One calm surface each day: what the system noticed overnight, the single thing worth doing, and the moment a goal graduates because you no longer need it.
After the open 3
Queued behind launch, and shaped by what the first testers show us.
Guided protocols
Structured recovery arcs you can opt into, with a day sheet and honest handling of the days you lapse. Recovery in order, not a streak to protect.
The path splits at baseline
Once you are back to steady the road forks. Hold your ground, or start to climb. You choose, and the system adapts to the choice.
The library keeps growing
More conditions, supplements and claims, each graded the same way. The queue below shows what is in the pipeline, and you can add to it.
Exploring 2
Further out. Honest about the uncertainty.
Opening the genetic layer wider
Raw genetic upload is held to a small group while we are certain about the handling. Widening it is a question of trust, not features.
A research layer, if the data earns it
Anonymised, opt-in, and only if it can answer questions the literature cannot. Not a data business, a way to close honest gaps.

The authoring queue

Illustrative pre-launch pipeline. The live queue fills from your suggestions.

Every entry moves left to right. Nothing reaches the library until it's graded and receipted, and you can watch it get there.

Requested 1
Asked for. Waiting in line.
Orthosomnia: when the sleep score makes sleep worse
The anxiety a sleep score creates is now measurable. We are grading what the number is worth against what it costs.
11 requests
Researching 2
Reading the literature. Sorting signal from noise.
Protein timing and the anabolic window
Untangling the 'window' marketing from the daily-total evidence.
Sleep extension and athletic performance
The Mah-line studies: the strongest 'sleep is training' evidence we can publish.
Graded 1
Tier assigned. In final review.
HRV-guided training readiness
Backs a pending spine indicator. The optimiser pattern needs this receipt.

The wearable reads got honest about time

We found and fixed a set of quiet wearable bugs. Sleep that ran across midnight was being counted against the wrong day, and two different sleep-stage formats were being averaged into a number that meant nothing. It is one night, one window, one format now.

Data deletion that finishes the job

A deletion request was stopping part way through and leaving fragments behind. It now runs to the end, and the copy of your data you can ask for is complete and bounded. Privacy is not a line we write, it is a path we test.

The morning check-in became one instrument

The daily surface is now a single calm instrument. It opens with what the system noticed overnight, stands the one thing worth doing in the light, and asks only what it needs to. On a day that calls for rest, it says so and gets out of the way.

A pass on speed

A measurement-first sweep of the parts that felt slow. Signing in no longer storms the server, the morning snapshot is fetched once and shared rather than fetched three times over, and the surfaces that stuttered now settle. Faster because it does less, not because it skips the work.

Goals that graduate

When a goal has done its work, the system retires it instead of asking you to keep proving something you have already fixed. The moment is marked, and it shows you what opens up next rather than leaving a blank where the habit used to be.

2026-07-09Knowledge base
Knowledge base reached 383 graded entries

The library roughly doubled. New conditions, supplements, and diagnostics across all four pillars, plus a category and cross-reference layer so each entry links to what it touches. Every one still carries its tier, its sources, and what would change our mind.

Composite stories went live

Three patterns went up: the prescription stack, the optimiser, the 4am exec. Each one shows its loop, the order it comes apart in, and a graded entry behind every step. They stay marked as composites until a real tester walks one.
